Ah, the first post. Probably the most useless entry on any blog. But everyone has to start somewhere. This is my beginning. I have one simple goal with this site: To improve my writing. I know I’m not a good writer, but that is the reason why I need this. So I’m doing this for myself.

There’s a reason why this site looks a bit shoddy. I really wanted to focus on the content and figure out what topics I enjoy writing about before I spent too much time making things look nice. You know, the whole function over form thing. Okay I won’t lie. I did spend some time trying to make the site nice-ish, but it didn’t turn out so great. That’s what happens when there isn’t proper planning, wire-framing, comps, and etc. But this is good. I can focus on the content and not get so caught up on how things look. I worry about that too much over at Tapbots. This is an ugly, but safe place.

So what will I write about? Mostly things that are relevant to me personally. I may try to throw in a few tips/tutorials related to design or photography, but that’s not my goal. My sole purpose is to write…anything.
